A Night for Honiak Music Academy

Join us on Tuesday 26 May at Rich Mix London for a night of music in support of rebuilding the Honiak Music Academy in Tehran.
In March, an airstrike destroyed the academy, a community space founded by Iranian musicians Hamidreza Afarideh and Sheida Ebadatdoust. Home to more than 250 students, the academy was reduced to rubble within moments, with instruments, equipment, and years of dedication lost. More than 20 teachers and staff are now without income, and an important cultural space for many has disappeared.
This special fundraising concert brings together an extraordinary line-up of artists including Cigdem Aslan, Kourosh Kanani, Faarjam Saidi, Parham Bahadoran, Shohre Khaatoon, and Adib Rostami.
All profits from the event, organised by Vaak Events and Art Stage, will be donated directly to support Afarideh, Ebadatdoust, and their students in rebuilding the Honiak Music Academy and supporting its community.
