Omid Saidi
Omid Saidi, born in Bushehr in 1995, is the songwriter for Otagh Band's "In the Oil Fields". He studied music at the Art & Architecture Faculty of Azad University in Tehran and is skilled in playing the piano and the ney-anban, a traditional southern Iranian bagpipe. Omid has made notable contributions to musical theater and was a finalist for Best Original Score at the 31st International Fajr Theatre Festival for the Funeral of the Ghosts on the Persian Sea.
