Gdaal feat. Diata — Persian Rap Night Live in London
Join us on Saturday 28 February 2026 at Rich Mix London for a special night as Gdaal, the renowned Persian rapper, performs in London for the first time. This event marks the launch of Persian Rap Night, a new series curated by Vaak Records.
Active since 2012, Gdaal has released over five albums and numerous singles, amassing millions of streams worldwide. He will be joined by Diata, an emerging Iranian singer; Mondy on live instruments; and MJoobi on electronics, coming together to create a unique and unforgettable performance.
Diata (Parmida Pourtavasoli), originally from Esfahan and based in Paris, debuted in 2018 as the lead singer of Iran’s band Octave. Now performing across Europe, she has collaborated with artists including Gdaal and Sijal, emerging as a distinctive female voice in Persian Hip-Hop and R&B.
MJoobi (Soheil Mahjoobi), a Paris-based producer, DJ, and sound engineer from Tehran, blends electronic and world music elements. His award-winning remix of If You Go Away gained international recognition, and he has worked with Gdaal, Diata, Ali Azimi, and others.
Mondy (Mahyar Ziazarifi), based in Vienna, is a versatile pianist, saxophonist, and producer with roots in classical composition and jazz. His multi-genre collaborations have contributed to a wide range of singles and albums.
